We cover a show where rumour and confirmed news often land at the same time. This policy is how we keep them apart, so you can trust what you read here and see where it came from.

How we weigh sources

Not every source carries the same weight. A claim on this site is tagged with the strongest thing standing behind it.

• Official. Star Maa and JioStar, and the broadcast or stream itself. The last word on anything about the show.
• First-hand. A contestant’s own verified account, or a statement from someone directly involved.
• Established media. Recognised newsrooms that answer for what they print.
• Unverified. Rumour accounts and creators with no editorial oversight. Useful as a lead, never enough on their own.

Reference sites such as Wikipedia sit outside this ladder. We use them to find the primary reporting, not as a source in their own right.

Verified, reported, rumored

For the claims that move during a season (cast, schedule, results, the week’s rumours) we label how solid each one is:

• Verified: confirmed by an official source, or something we can check directly.
• Reported: carried by established media but not yet officially confirmed.
• Rumored: circulating and plausible, but unconfirmed. Always shown with the source and the date it appeared.

Our rumour standard

We publish a rumour only when it clears a real bar: one strong official or first-hand source, or two independent outlets that got there separately. A rumour account is never the only thing behind a claim. When we do run one, it carries a visible “rumored” label, the source and the date, and we update the page in the open when it’s confirmed or when it falls apart.

Images and rights

Every image we publish has a recorded licence: who owns it, where it came from and how we’re allowed to use it. We don’t treat screenshots or social photos as free to reuse, and that includes YouTube thumbnails. If you own an image used here and have a concern, tell us and we’ll act on it.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so, rather than quietly deleting it. The “updated” date on a page reflects its last real change. Spotted a mistake? Tell us.

Independence and the poll

We’re independent and we run no official part of the show. The poll we host during the season is an unofficial audience opinion poll, a read on fan sentiment and never the real vote. We never edit its totals or its percentages. If a poll is ever compromised, we freeze or hide it and say so, or we close it and restart. We don’t quietly adjust the numbers. The vote that counts is always the one the show runs, which we link on every voting page.
